Richard is Chief Instructor. He has been
sailing since he was 8 years old and raced dinghies till 1995 when he
moved into offshore yachts. He has sailed to Olympic level and is your
man if you want to improve your sail trimming and racing skills. His
family own and run Greek Sails yacht charter here in Poros and he has
too many sea miles to count! In 1987 when he last counted he had in
excess of 90,000! |
Mike is a Yachtmaster
Instructor and Principal of the school which was founded in 2005. He
began sailing in 1994 when a friend invited him to a regatta in Cork. He
became the proud owner of a Westerley in the UK and instructed in the
Solent before coming to Greece. He discovered Poros when working as a
flotilla skipper here and decided to give up a life in IT and start the
school here in the sun. |
Graham joined us as a cruising instructor
in 2007. He began his sailing career in Greece about 15 years ago and he
now owns a 40 foot catamaran that he keeps in Poros. He has over 25,000
sea miles and has sailed just about every type of yacht including a 70
foot gaff rigged schooner in Australia. He’s an ex publican and so has a
well grounded sense of humour!

Sue is our UK Office
Manager. Her career in admin was interrupted by the arrival of her son
Max so she downsized and now maintains the UK side of things for us. She
isn't allergic to sailing but has had little opportunity in the last few
years! |

Lynda helps out when
we are at our busiest and turns her hand to what ever is needed. She has
sailed since small and is now at Day Skipper level. She acts as
dogsbody, typist, cleaner, hostess and instructors assistant. Ask nicely
and she’ll make you a mean Greek Salad! |
